The Gulf Islands are made up over a dozen large islands and little ones that are too numerous to count. Each large island has a uniqueness to its location, the Gulf Islands is like a small Mediterranean with a taste of Canadian. The people that reside in the Gulf Islands range from retires millionaires to off the grid hippies. This haven has long dry summers and mild winters. This cluster of islands is surrounded by sheltered waters, strong tides, and dramatic coastlines.

Traveling to the Gulf Islands is an adventure by itself, either by ferry or seaplane. There are B&B’s, inns, resorts, or campgrounds to choose from and lots of activities appropriate for families. Activities include kayaking, biking, hiking, birdwatching, beach combing, or just exploring the towns each island has to offer.
