Rated as one of the top coastal destinations by National Geographic Traveler, Tutukaka Coast in New Zealand filled with diving and fishing charters. Surrounded by rocky shores, pristine white sand beaches, coastal bush walks, and the Poor Knights Marine Reserve. This destination is a hit suitable for anyone with art, cuisine, accommodation, shopping, and of course diving.

There are 4 beaches around this area, Matapouri, Whale Bay, Wooley’s Bay, and Sandy Bay.

  • Matapouri holds breath-taking white sand, and has some holiday homes

  • Whale Bay known as a “best kept secret” with white sand and a bush fringed cove. Enter via a brisk walk through ancient Puriri trees or in October, bright yellow blossoms of native Kowhai tree.

  • Wooley’s Bay is another coastal beach that is perfect for swimming, body surfing or a picnic.

  • Sandy Bay a popular spot for surfers since the 60’s, and a cool hangout spot to watch the surfers catch the waves.
